| Biography: | Norman Mathews is a composer/playwright/author whose work has appeared at the Kennedy Center and venues around the world. His opera, La Lupa, was showcased by the Ft. Worth Opera Company. His musicals and cabaret works have been performed by Tony-Award performers. His art songs have been broadcast on Public Radio. His choral works received both VocalEssence and Project Encore Awards. His play, Drone, is the winner of the New Works of Merit Playwriting Award.The Wrong Side of the Room: A Life in Music Theater, Mathews's autobiography, has won numerous awards. |
