Source Moment: First, the people! Everyone at Source was genuinely interested in learning from each other both on and off stage, like an art song family. Second, the recitals. I enjoyed my first live performance of Die Schöne Müllerin and learned so much about song by listening to the MN Composer's works. Which leads to number three, the ability to learn from composers as an MNDuo participant. I attended a few of Libby Larsen's lectures and loved meeting and performing a few songs by Edie Hill after a week of mostly melodie and lieder. Thank you, Source, for an unforgettable experience!
