| Biography: | Russian-born pianist Irina Stene knew she wanted to be a musician from an early age. She received her Bachelor and Master's degree in piano performance while in Russia, and in 2011 moved to the United States. In the US, she earned a Doctorate of Music Arts in Collaborative Piano & Vocal Coaching from the University of Minnesota in 2018 . She is engaged as both an interpreter of vocal and instrumental repertoire, as well as playing musical theater shows. For the past several years, she has served on the staff at Saint Cloud State University (MN) as a piano instructor, and has been enjoying both coaching and recording with the young vocalists. |
