Biography: Eric Petterson enjoys a diverse musical life. He holds a Master's Degree from Westminster Choir College in Piano Accompanying/Coaching. While at Westminster, he formed a professional vocal ensemble called the St. Mary's Singers, which specializes in leading Divine Liturgies in the Byzantine Catholic rite. Eric is also active outside the realm of sacred music, serving the northeast Pennsylvania community in various capacities. He has recently served as musical director/coach/répétiteur for theatrical productions with the Scranton Cultural Center Youth Theater Program as well as Pennsylvania Lyric Opera. He is a private instructor of students of all ages at Musical Dreams Studio in Moscow, PA. He also maintains his own high-level private studio. Since completing his master’s, he has been recruited to return to his alma mater, Marywood University, as an esteemed member of faculty. In his spare time, Eric volunteers at United Neighborhood Centers of Northeast Pennsylvania and the Scranton Council of Literacy Advance, where he is English Language tutor to non-native English speakers. He is also a volunteer EMT at Moscow Fire & Hose Company in Moscow, PA.
