Our 2016 Season culminates in a truly ground-breaking evening of song. We close our week as we began it: with the music of Pulitzer-Prize winning composer Dominick Argento. Swedish baritone Håkan Hagegård reimagines two of Argento's seminal solo vocal cycles as multi-singer, staged works : From the Diary of Virginia Woolf & The Andrée Expedition.

OpenSource is the opening concert of Source Song Festival. This year, we celebrate Pulitzer Prize winning, Minneapolis-based composer Dominick Argento!  With performances of Letters from Composers, Three Meditations & A Few Words About Chekhov, interviews with the composer and his artistic partners showcase the work and genius of this local treasure. Come join François Le Roux, professor of voice at the Ecole Normale de musique de Paris Alfred Cortot, director of the Francis Poulenc Academie, and master of French mélodie, as he presents an all-French public masterclass.
