Source Moment: As someone who performs primarily solo piano repertoire and choral music, the Source Song Festival was my first immersive experience in the world of art song. I was blown away by the richness of the repertoire, the beauty of the poetry, and the artistry of each performer. My favorite experience each year was hearing Olivier Godin and Francois Le Roux perform French song repertoire. Their performances together were profoundly moving. Godin's playing, in particular, elevated my understanding of all the expressive possibilities at the piano.
