Biography: "Aleksandar Reupert, bass, has been recognized for his diverse abilities in operas, recitals, and choruses both in the Midwest and abroad. Recent performances include Mahler’s Symphony no. 2 with Chicago Sinfonietta and the role of Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro at Stavovské divadlo in Prague. Aleksandar’s passion for song can be seen in his recitals which span diverse genres, languages, and time periods; including collaborations with notable living composers. Some other performance highlights include: Walt Whitman in Song with Source Song Festival, and Craig Hella Johnson’s Considering Matthew Shepard with Chicago College of Performing Arts. Aleksandar has been a frequently featured soloist and liturgical singer in churches across Chicago and is a professional member of the Grant Park Festival Chorus 2020 season (cancelled).

Aleksandar holds a BM in Voice from Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, and is currently pursuing his MM in Voice from Boston University."
